Meet Gemma - Your Sewing Instructor
As a former primary school teacher, teaching runs in my veins. I launched my small business Sewing Gem selling sewing tools and haberdashery from my garage in 2018, quickly outgrowing the space. I have worked as a part-time sewing teacher after studying sewing and completing various courses. I live in Brisbane with my husband and two young kids. If I’m not busy being a mum, teaching or running the business; you’ll find me in my sewing room tackling my never-ending list of makes.
